What rights you have if a maxCL product is not in conformity, and how to notify us. The summary below follows the legal guarantee certificate for maxCL standard products (MKS 1100 SINK, revision of 08.10.2026); you will find the full document at the end.

The legal guarantee of conformity

For consumers, the seller is liable for any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery, under Government Emergency Ordinance (OUG) No. 140/2021.

• You may request repair or replacement of the product, under the conditions laid down by law; a price reduction or termination of the contract is available in the cases provided for by law.
• Repair or replacement is carried out free of charge and without significant inconvenience to you, within the period agreed in writing, of no more than 15 calendar days from the seller being informed. The costs needed to bring the product into conformity are included.
• In the case of repair, the legal period is extended by the time during which the product could not be used; in the case of replacement, the period starts again from the replacement.
• Your legal rights do not depend on signing any form. Your rights regarding hidden defects are also preserved, under the conditions laid down by law.

The certificate records the legal guarantee and does not add any additional commercial guarantee. For professional (business) purchases, the applicable legal regime and the contract concluded apply.

How to report a problem

Contact the seller or the maxCL team on 0770 411 264 or at office@maxcl.ro and send us:

• the product code and the batch or serial number, if there is one;
• proof of purchase (the invoice or receipt);
• the date you noticed the problem and a short description;
• a few relevant photos.

Keep the product available for assessment and avoid any intervention that could erase the cause of the defect, except for measures needed to limit damage.

How claims are assessed

Each claim is assessed according to the cause established. Normal wear and damage caused solely by impacts, unforeseen interventions, corrosive products, freezing of the plumbing or use contrary to the instructions are distinguished from material or manufacturing defects. There is no automatic loss of all rights, and incorrect installation caused by deficient instructions does not remove legal liability.

On the MKS sink, the flatness of the HPL cover may show slight, occasional or reversible variations, influenced by storage, positioning, temperature or climate; if functionality and strength are not affected, these do not constitute a defect. The back of the cover can be used as a chopping board, and the resulting scratches are normal signs of use. These clarifications do not exclude genuine defects and do not restrict your legal rights.
