Completed project
The material
A board made for the weather
Rain, frost, sun or snow: compact HPL has UV protection, needs no periodic treatment and is easy to clean.
Layers. Kraft paper, resin and high pressure. Facade panels have decorative surfaces on both sides, protected with melamine.
Rain. Water-repellent material: it doesn't swell or crack in the damp. Water beads up and runs off.
Frost. Resistant to extreme temperatures and frost; passes the climatic shock test in EN 438-6.
Snow. Weather-resistant; the non-porous surface is easy to clean.
Sun. An acrylic layer protects the decor from UV rays: 1,500 hours of exposure, rated 4 on the grey scale (standard: 3).
